Visitation Guidelines

Listed are requirements that Bethany Retirement Living has put in place for visitation to keep our residents safe.  Upon entering the building you will be screened and, if these requirements are not met, you will not be allowed accessIf these guidelines are not followed while in the building, you will be asked to leave.  Thank you for your understanding and continual support in protecting your loved ones and all who reside at Bethany.

  • All visitors must wear a face mask while in the building. A face shield is also required while in the building if you have NOT received all required doses of the Covid vaccine and have reached 14 days past required dosage.  You must provide proof of vaccination.  You must have all required items when you arrive to visit or we will not allow visitation.  These items are available for purchase at Thrifty White Pharmacy at Bethany on 42nd (please use the pharmacy door on the west side of the building), at the administrative desk at Bethany on University, or you can purchase one from a supplier of your choice. (Exceptions would be made for compassionate end-of-life care situations).
  • One to two visitors (18 or older) per resident at a time with a preferred 2 hour time limit per visit. (Exceptions would be made for compassionate end-of-life care situations).
  • To keep residents healthy and safe please consider getting vaccinated as soon as you are able.  If you have not been vaccinated, please consider getting tested before you visit and bring proof of current COVID-19 testing results with you.  The Faith and Journey testing site is now offering rapid tests, so you can have the results in 15 minutes.  We prefer proof of a negative COVID-19 test that was taken within the past 5 days. If you do not get rapid tested, we recommend that you get a PCR test on the same day every week so you get an idea of when you will be receiving the test results from the Department of Health in either ND or MN.  Free testing is available at the following locations: 3051 25th Street S., Suite K, Fargo, ND.    Between Grand Junction Subs and Midwest Vision. This site is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, and no appointment is necessary.  Former Thomas Edison Elementary School, 1110 14th Street South, Moorhead.  This is saliva testing and the site is open Monday/Tuesday/Friday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday/Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Schedule Appointment with Vault Health
  • We will not allow visitation for residents/patients in isolation. We will not allow visitation for 14 days upon a resident’s/patient’s admittance or return from hospital/ER.
  • All visitors must sanitize upon entering the building, during their visit, and when exiting the building. Please bring personal hand sanitizer with you if you can.
